Influence the development of education of high ability students in the countries of the Network from the youth perspective.
Promote and facilitate cooperation between Talent Centers, Talent Points and similar organisations.
Support projects for students with high ability involving international collaboration.
EYS 2016 was organised as a part of the 15th International ECHA Conference. Around 55 young people with high ability from 8 countries met to discuss differences in gifted education in European countries and the rights of students with high ability. This meeting led to the formation of the Youth Platform.
EYS 2017 was the biggest event of the platform to date -- 63 young people from 17 countries met to create new friendships and connections across countries, learn something new in interactive workshops, discuss our initiatives and create new international projects. Many of the current projects of the Platform started during this event.
