The History and Geography Museum of Jeseníky Region (Vlastivědné muzeum Jesenicka) and Regional State Archive Jeseník (Státní okresní archiv Jeseník), Czech Republic
St. Wenceslas’ Meeting is a international research activity for gifted students from Central Europe. It aims to provide young students with first-hand experience of scientific research and to promote cross border cooperation.
The History and Geography Museum of Jeseníky Region (Vlastivědné muzeum Jesenicka) and Regional State Archive Jeseník (Státní okresní archiv Jeseník) are organising annual conference at the venue in the spa town Jeseník. Every year the conference chooses different topic. This year’s topic is protection of the environment in the Jeseník region.
For the first time gifted students will be given a presentation opportunity at the conference in the cooperation with Youth Platform of the European Talent Support Network. International team of gifted students (from Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland) will conduct research in the area of ecology and environment protection (precise topic will be determined after the consultation with participants) on site with the support of the professional tutor. The results of the research will be presented at the conference (September 2018) and in the scientific journal (joint article should be ready by July 2018).
