We are the Youth Platform of the European Talent Support Network. We represent students and alumni of Talent Centres and Talent Points in 18 countries across Europe and Asia. We work to improve education for and create connections between students with high ability.

Our Events

  • 1-5 March 2016

    European Youth Summit 2016 Vienna

    EYS 2016 was organised as a part of the 15th International ECHA Conference. Around 55 young people with high ability from 8 countries met to discuss differences in gifted education in European countries and the rights of students with high ability. This meeting led to the formation of the Youth Platform.

  • 29 March - 2 April 2017

    European Youth Summit 2017 Budapest

    EYS 2017 was the biggest event of the platform to date -- 63 young people from 17 countries met to create new friendships and connections across countries, learn something new in interactive workshops, discuss our initiatives and create new international projects. Many of the current projects of the Platform started during this event.

  • 11-13 November 2017

    Council and Team Leaders Meeting 2017 Budapest

    Council members (leadership of the Platform) and project team leaders met to create long term strategies for our current projects and to start planning the European Youth Summit 2018.

    European Youth Summit 2018 Dublin

    We are currently preparing EYS 2018 which will take place as a part of the 16th International ECHA Conference in Dublin.

I'm a student...

If you are a member of a Talent Centre or Talent Point (see the full list here) and you meet these criteria:

  • be aged between 14 and 30
  • speak English competently
  • be willing to devote time to the projects and events of the Youth Platform

Apply and become member by sending

  • nomination from Talent Centre/Point (or apply trough official email of TC/TP)
  • short motivation letter
  • short CV

to youthplatform@etsn.eu.

If you are not a part of a Talent Centre or Talent Point you can encourage your institution to become one (application here).

Support us!

I'm a teacher and/or an institution representative...

If your institution is a Talent Centre or Talent Point you can nominate students (who adhere to the criteria mentioned) to represent you in the Youth Platform. Nominate them (email confirmation or a scanned document) and ask them to send us a CV and short motivation letter along with the nomination to youthplatform@etsn.eu.

If your institution is not a Talent Centre or Talent Point you can apply to become one to be able to nominate your students for the Youth Platform (application here).
